What you get
-
Pruned, never topped
Crown thinning and deadwood removal keep oaks and pines healthy and wind-permeable. Topping a tree creates a hazard rather than removing one, and we will not do it.
-
Before the season, not during it
Structural pruning in spring is the cheapest storm preparation there is. The limb removed in May is the one that does not land on the roof in September.
-
Removal with a drop zone
Rigging, sections, ropes and a cleared landing area — then the stump ground so the lawn can close over it.
Questions we hear a lot
How often should trees be pruned here?
Most shade trees benefit every two to three years. Anything fast-growing or overhanging a structure is worth looking at annually, ideally before storm season.
