What you get
-
The base is the patio
The pavers collect the compliments; the compacted base beneath carries the load. We excavate, compact in lifts and screed as though the base were the finished surface, because in every way that matters it is.
-
Water given somewhere to go
A patio is an impermeable slab you are adding to a wet lot. Fall, joint choice and a drain path are designed in, not discovered afterwards.
-
Repairs that do not read as patches
We source and blend pavers and stone so an extension or a repair does not announce itself from the porch.
Questions we hear a lot
Why do patios sink here?
Almost always a skimped base. South Louisiana soils move with moisture, so a properly excavated, geotextile-backed, compacted base is what keeps a patio flat through wet winters and dry Augusts.
