What you get
-
The preparation is the job
Old turf stripped, grade corrected, soil amended and a starter feed down before the first roll. All the work that decides the outcome is invisible by the time you see the lawn.
-
Varieties for the Gulf South
St. Augustine for shade, zoysia for traffic and a manicured look, centipede for low input, Bermuda for full sun. We match the variety to your yard rather than to the pallet on the truck.
-
Graded so it drains
New sod on a lawn that holds water is a short-lived lawn. Where the fall is wrong we say so, and correct it before laying anything.
Questions we hear a lot
How soon can I use a new sod lawn?
Light foot traffic at around two to three weeks, normal use once roots have knitted at four to six. Watering in the first month is what decides which end of that you land on.
Which grass suits Louisiana lawns?
St. Augustine dominates for shade tolerance and that thick Gulf South look, zoysia handles traffic and looks manicured, centipede is the low-input choice. We recommend after seeing the sun, shade and drainage on your lot.
